ASAIMH Ltd are excited to announce the launch of a new advisory service, starting in April 2026. The advisory service has been established in order to provide individually-tailored training for group psychology practices, public mental health services and other organizations who are wanting to introduce the use of AI technology into their clinical practice.
The advisory service provides training in the following areas:
Introducing the use of AI technology into your practice so that it is compliant with Australasian regulatory frameworks, including the Australian Privacy Policy (APP).
What are the benefits of integrating AI into your clinical practice, versus the potential pitfalls - creating a reflective space to consider what is best for your practice or organization.
A basic introduction to Large Language Models (LLMs) for clinicians, which functions they are good at, and which to avoid - and how to use AI technology in a way which reduces the risk of inaccurate output or "hallucination".
Guidance on criteria to consider when selecting from available AI Scribe, report-writing and practice-management software, so that clinical workflows can be optimized.
Outlining the consent process in using AI platforms which your clients so that it is compliant with professional codes of practice, including AHPRA.
Training on the development of AI scribe "templates" for both assessment, standard clinical sessions and supervision. Reflection on the use of AI that is both ethically-sound and supportive of enhanced clinical practice.
What is included?
A 90-minute online meeting, held via zoom.

Follow-up discussion via email and phone-call 2-weeks after the training.
Course content reviewed and approved by the ASAIMH board of Directors.
Delivered by one of our team of registered Clinical psychologists.
Certificate issued by ASAIMH Ltd as a record of your participation in the training.
